A local government authority is seeking an experienced housing professional to lead and manage a team focused on energy efficiency and warm homes projects. Responsibilities include liaising with partners and contractors, managing Housing Project Officers, and ensuring project delivery in line with the Housing Strategy. Candidates should have relevant experience and qualifications in housing or construction. The role offers a competitive rewards package including flexible working arrangements.
We are looking for an experienced housing professional to lead and manage a team responsible for the delivery of energy efficiency and warm homes projects across the county in line with the Housing Strategy and corporate agenda.
You will be responsible for liaising with partners both internal and external, contractors, Registered Providers, residents, private landlords and property owners to improve stock in the private sector through a number of warm homes and energy efficiency initiatives including Warm Homes Local Grant.
You will have direct line management responsibilities for a team of Housing Project Officers and Housing Project Support Officers and will deputise for the Housing Assets & Investment Manager as required.
