Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is sourcing a Principal Electrical Building Services Engineer for a leading global engineering and design consultancy in Bristol. You will provide technical leadership on local and international projects, collaborating with building physicists, sustainability and energy consultants, and BIM specialists.

Ideal candidates will hold a degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering, be chartered or near Chartership, and have a proven track record delivering

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status through IET or CIBSE, or close to Chartership.
• Proven experience delivering building services projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams including external consultants.
• Strong knowledge of sector-specific legislation, regulations and design guidance.

We are working with a leading global engineering and design consultancy to recruit a Principal Electrical Building Services Engineer to join its established Building Services team in the Bristol.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced electrical building services professional to take a leading role on a diverse range of multidisciplinary projects, working alongside building physicists, sustainability and energy consultants, BIM specialists, and other engineering disciplines.

The Role

As a Principal Electrical Building Services Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across a range of local, and international projects.
You will contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable engineering solutions, helping clients deliver projects that balance technical performance, commercial value and environmental responsibility.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer with a strong technical background and the ability to lead projects and teams.

You will ideally have:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status through an appropriate professional institution such as IET or CIBSE, or be close to achieving Chartership.
• Proven experience of winning and delivering a range of building services projects.
• Experience providing technical leadership to multidisciplinary design teams, including external consultants and sub-consultants.
• Strong knowledge of relevant sector-specific legislation, regulations, standards and design guidance.
