Job summary

Cundall is seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer for its Birmingham office to lead innovative electrical design across education, healthcare, commercial and industrial sectors. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage engineers, and build strong client relationships to deliver technically excellent and profitable projects.

The role emphasizes sustainable, low-energy design, mentoring of junior staff, and delivering high-quality outcomes on challenging schemes

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services Engineering.
• Experience as Electrical Engineer in building services.
• Experience with LV distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and security.
• Experience with renewable technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical solutions for projects and ensure technical excellence.
• Lead and mentor other engineers to deliver multi-discipline designs on time and within budget.
• Develop and nurture client relationships to maximise satisfaction and repeat business.
• Collaborate with external partners and internal teams to deliver profitable projects.
