Job summary

Pangea is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for data centre and mission-critical projects in London. You will drive technical delivery, develop strategic concepts, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The role involves client-facing responsibilities and mentoring the next generation of engineers. The ideal candidate brings proven leadership in data centre projects, with proficiency in Revit, BIM, Dialux, Relux and Electrical OM.

We are recruiting for a Principal Electrical Engineer on behalf of our client.

Overview of the role

• Lead the day-to-day technical delivery of electrical design servicesfor data centre and mission-critical projects
• Develop initial strategic concepts, ensuring solutions meet the brief and relevant regulatory standards
• Provide client-facing support: attend meetings, respond to needs, and communicate requirements to the project team
• Support commercial delivery by helping monitor fee expenditure, resources, and work delivered
• Mentor and support apprentices, graduates, and "next gen" professionals

Required experience and skills

• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer(or closely related), delivering Mission Critical/Data Centreprojects
• Strong technical delivery processes and experience using tools such as Revit, BIM, Electrical OM, Dialux and Relux
• Demonstrable experience working with clients/contractors/architects in a consultant/design environment
• A supportive leadership style, with experience helping others grow in knowledge and confidence
