RSE in the UK is seeking a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to lead EICA activities within our design and delivery teams. The role focuses on scoping, detailed design, and implementation while ensuring compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards, with emphasis on low-carbon solutions.

You will manage bids, guide project teams, and develop engineering staff. A strong background in electrical design, SE/CEng registration, and driving delivery across projects is essential.

Formación

• Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional Registration with IET, InstMC or similar (IEng, CEng).
• Well-developed knowledge of British and European design standards.
• Proven management capability covering project development, design, construction and commissioning.
• Preconstruction design and cost evaluation knowledge and experience.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines through analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Minimum of 5 years as Senior Electrical Engineer in both design office and construction.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsabilidades

• Meeting with clients to discuss intervention requirements.
• Taking the EICA lead on bids and proposals for new projects or frameworks.
• Planning and implementing projects with Delivery Management teams.
• Line management and development of EICA staff.
• Leading development of EICA design deliverables for the business stream.
• Providing technical guidance on EICA matters to project teams and Senior Management.
• Mentoring and developing the next generation of EICA engineers.
