AFECO is seeking a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical design for water and wastewater projects. You will oversee LV/HV distribution, MCCs, VSDs, protection schemes, and ICA interfaces, ensuring compliance with BS7671, EN 61439 and WIMES.

Lead multidisciplinary teams across feasibility to detailed design, driving quality and value while mentoring engineers.

Formación

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; recognised by UK engineering bodies.
• Chartered Engineer status or actively pursuing Chartership.
• Extensive experience designing electrical systems for water/wastewater infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in design software and producing high-quality technical docs.

This is a great opportunity for enthusiastic individuals who fit in with our company values and are keen to develop in a forward-thinking organisation.Role PurposeAs the Principal Electrical Design Engineer you will provide technical leadership and oversight of electrical engineering design for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role leads multidisciplinary teams through feasibility, outline, and detailed design stages, ensuring compliance with industry standards, client expectations, and water-company asset requirements.
