Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Principal EIA Specialist in Cardiff to lead hydrogeology, hydrology and water environment chapters for complex EIAs. You will act as a technical expert within the water environment team and guide junior colleagues.

The role is permanent with hybrid flexibility, requiring only 1 day per week in the Cardiff office, and offers a competitive salary and strong career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

Requires a degree in Hydrology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Civil/Environmental Engineering, or related field.
Chartered professional or working toward chartered status.
Experience in writing and delivering complex EIAs.
Right to work in the UK and full UK driving license.
Live within commutable distance to Cardiff office.

Responsibilities

Prepare and defend hydrogeology, hydrology, and water environment chapters for EIAs.
Share expertise with junior team members and provide guidance.
Role involves heavy technical work with hybrid Cardiff office (1 day/week in office).
