Our client, a leading environmental consultancy, is seeking a Principal Ecologist to join their growing team in Kent. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced ecologist to take a leading role in delivering high‑quality ecological surveys, assessments, and advice across a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead ecological surveys, habitat assessments, and biodiversity impact assessments.
  • Provide expert advice on ecological legislation, planning policy, and conservation strategies.
  • Manage and mentor junior ecologists, fostering a strong team culture.
  • Prepare high‑quality technical reports and contribute to client proposals.
  • Liaise with clients, statutory bodies, and stakeholders to support project delivery.
Requirements
  • Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
