TipTopJob is seeking a Principal Drainage Engineer to lead drainage and infrastructure projects in Basingstoke. The role blends technical delivery with client engagement and business development, offering scope to grow the drainage team.

You will deliver surface water, SuDS and foul drainage schemes, perform hydraulic modelling, and mentor junior engineers while developing key client relationships.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in drainage engineering and design.
• Strong knowledge of surface water drainage, SuDS and foul drainage.
• Experience using drainage and hydraulic modelling software.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of drainage and infrastructure projects from concept through to completion.
• Producing and reviewing drainage strategies, designs and technical reports.
• Managing projects, budgets and client relationships.
• Supporting bids, fee proposals and business development activity.
• Helping to grow the drainage team as the business expands.
