Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Guildford is seeking a Principal Drainage Engineer to lead drainage design and infrastructure projects, delivering Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies for public and private sector clients.

You will use AutoCAD and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, manage project delivery, liaise with planning authorities and stakeholders, and contribute to career development through mentoring and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in flood risk assessments and drainage design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage.
• Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• A full UK driving licence
• The full right to work in the UK
• Live within a commutable distance to Guildford

As a Principal Drainage Engineer, you will lead drainage design and infrastructure projects, preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies. You will use your technical expertise to deliver practical solutions, manage project deadlines and collaborate with clients, planning authorities and colleagues.
