Job summary

Oyster in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Planner or Principal Planner to lead major planning applications and appeals. You will contribute to strategic growth projects, large-scale infrastructure schemes, and complex development management work, ideally within a majors team.

The role offers flexible working arrangements, around 1 day per week in the office (or 2 days per fortnight) with the remainder completed remotely, plus potential for a long-term contract and a varied caseload.

Qualifications

The Team is dealing with a broad range of planning work, including:

• Major residential developments
• Strategic growth projects
• Large-scale infrastructure schemes
• Complex planning applications and appeals
• High-profile development management work

They're ideally looking for someone operating at Senior Planner or Principal Planner level who has experience handling major planning applications. Previous experience within a majors team would be beneficial, although strong development management planners with relevant experience will also be considered.

The opportunity offers:

• £50-£63 per hour (DOE)
• Flexible working arrangements
