Verizon in Reading, England is seeking a Principal Consultant in Digital Forensics & Incident Response. The role is hybrid in location a high-visibility client-facing position leading complex investigations and building incident response plans for major cyber incidents.

Ideal candidates will have DFIR expertise across Windows, Linux, Unix, or macOS, familiarity with NIST/SANS, and experience engaging with executive stakeholders while mentoring others.

Qualifications

• Experience in forensic investigations across Windows, Linux, Unix or macOS.
• Familiarity with incident response methodologies and DFIR tooling.
• Knowledge of ICS, IoT, and eDiscovery processes.
• Experience with NIST and SANS frameworks and executive communication.
• Proven client-facing consulting experience and ability to interact with C-suite stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex forensic investigations into major cyber incidents and nation-state attacks.
• Develop incident response plans and run tabletop exercises.
• Act as trusted advisor to enterprise clients through investigation lifecycles.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to business development and thought leadership.
