Full time hours on a temporary basis

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Development Surveyor to lead and manage complex property development and regeneration projects. This is a key role within our Property and Regeneration team, responsible for delivering strategic land and property initiatives that support economic growth, housing delivery, and community benefit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on the delivery of major development and regeneration projects from inception to completion.
  • Provide expert advice on land acquisition, disposal, valuation, and development viability.
  • Manage external consultants and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Negotiate with developers, landowners, and stakeholders to secure best value and community outcomes.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management, elected members, and committees.
  • Support the development of strategic asset management plans and investment strategies.
