Job summary

National Highways is expanding its Data Team and recruiting a Principal Data Engineer. You will design, build, test, and maintain data management systems to meet business needs and ensure secure, governed data across the lifecycle.

You will drive best practices, champion automation, and provide technical leadership while collaborating with stakeholders across Digital Services. This is a hybrid role with two days in the office weekly.

• Proven ability to design and deliver complex data flows and pipelines.
• Experience coordinating with business stakeholders to meet user requirements.
• Strong focus on data security, governance and lifecycle management.
• Track record of driving automation and modern data practices.
