Job summary

Involved Solutions LTD. seeks a Principal Cyber Risk Management and Assurance Advisor to deliver senior cyber risk, assurance and secure-by-design expertise across a complex digital environment. This contract role is remote with occasional site visits and requires SC clearance.

You'll lead cyber risk assessments, apply threat modelling, advise on cloud and SaaS security, and translate risks into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in cyber risk management and assurance.
• Experience in large, complex, fast-moving digital environments.
• Deep understanding of secure-by-design, threat modelling and cyber risk.
• Experience with cloud and SaaS security.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• CISP and CISM qualifications and active SC clearance.

We are seeking an experienced Principal Cyber Risk Management and Assurance Advisor to provide senior cyber risk, assurance and secure-by-design expertise across a complex digital environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver detailed cyber security risk assessments and assurance across complex digital environments.
• Apply cyber risk management, threat modelling and secure-by-design principles.
• Provide security advice across cloud, SaaS and emerging technologies, including AI.
• Apply relevant security standards, regulatory frameworks and policies.
• Contribute to security architecture and formal IT Health Checks.
• Advise and influence senior stakeholders, translating complex risks into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Work across multidisciplinary teams and help embed effective security and risk management practices.

Essential experience:

• Strong track record in cyber security risk management and assurance.
• Experience working in large, complex and fast-moving digital environments.
• Deep understanding of secure by design, threat modelling and cyber risk.
• Experience with cloud and SaaS security.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• CISP and CISM qualifications.
• Active SC clearance.

Desirable

• Previous experience within government or critical infrastructure.
• ISO 27001 accredited auditor experience.
• Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) assessor experience.
