A reputable recruitment agency is seeking an interim Principal Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer for a locum contract in Greater London. The role requires a qualified Solicitor or Barrister with Local Government experience, offering between £60 and £65 per hour. Flexible hybrid working is available. Principal Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer

Hybrid working (flexible)

£60 - £65 per hour (dependent on experience)

Sellick Partnership are assisting a reputable London Borough in recruiting an interim Principal Contracts and Procurement Lawyer. This will be a locum contract for an initial 6 months with a view to extend on a rolling basis.

The successful Contracts and Procurement Lawyer must be a qualified Solicitor / Barrister, have experience in Local Government, and ideally be able to attend the office in London. However, they are open to considering candidates that require remote working.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Carry a caseload of contract and procurement matters
  • Provide expert advice to relevant committees, panels, working parties and other meetings as required
  • Co-ordinate and manage complex legal project and casework with, and on behalf of, clients including case management, casework, and advice, advocacy in Contracts and Procurement Law
  • To undertake management of all staff within areas of responsibility
