Bring your skills to the mix as a n Ass ociate Engineer in Waste Water Process Engineer ing , y ou'll play a vital role in every aspect of process engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad .

We specialise in all aspects of process engineering, within the water industry, including waste-water and bioresources treatment, both in the UK and internationally, with opportunities in other sectors such as nuclear. We continue to provide industry-leading engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle from feasibility to process commissioning adding value through client-side support. We currently have opportunities in our Cardiff & Swansea office.

Your Purpose

• Lead teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
• Defining briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
• Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
• Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Set ting quality assurance standards in design.
• Grow , develop and manage process engineering capability within the practice.

What you can bring

• Chartered Chemical / Process Engineer (preferably IChemE or CIWEM).
• Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
• Comprehensive knowledge of process engineering considerations and their impact on project and operational risks .
• Leadership of teams on programmes of work and/or major capital projects .
• Experience of process safety techniques (HAZOP / DSEAR), capital and operational costs assessments, whole life carbon assessments as well as knowledge of UK environmental regulations.
• Design and/or operational experience of main process unit operations.
