Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Principal Civil/Structural Engineer to lead CS&A delivery across UK projects, including complex reinforced concrete and marine structures, within regulated nuclear and defence contexts. Hybrid working model; offices across Stockton, Newcastle, Bristol, Gloucester, Glasgow, Westlakes and Warrington.

Qualifications

• A accredited MEng degree in Civil Engineering or similar; Chartered status preferred.
• Strong technical design capability using British/international standards and Eurocodes.
• Proven track record delivering civil/structural projects in regulated environments.
• Experience within quality assured systems and safety-critical programmes.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of CS&A engineers and architects in the definition, implementation and delivery of specified functional works that achieves safety, functional and business requirements.
• Delivery of the civil, structural Engineering Design, including reinforced concrete structures, plated steel structures, maritime structures and specialized Nuclear facilities.
• Manage the interface to and between key Delivery Partners and the design team.
• Develop deliverables list and format (drawings, specifications, reports, etc.)

Due to continued growth we are currently seeking Principal Civil/Structural Engineers to join our team. These positions support hybrid working and can be based across our office network within the UK - Stockton, Newcastle, Bristol, Gloucester, Glasgow, Westlakes and Warrington.

As a Principal CS&A Engineer your responsibilities could include

Here’s What You’ll Need

• Good, accredited MEng degree in Civil Engineering or similar Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer
• Good all-round technical design expertise using British and international standards, and/or Eurocodes
• Background engineering experience demonstrating a record of successful delivery.
• Experience of working within a regulated and quality assured system.
