Babcock is seeking a Principal Civil Structural Engineer in the UK, offering predominantly remote work with occasional travel to Plymouth. You will provide technical leadership across complex civil and structural projects within a highly regulated environment.
The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, Chartered Engineer status, and proven experience leading engineering teams, with governance, safety and quality standards. Defence/nuclear exposure is advantageous.

The role
As a Principal Civil Structural Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll provide technical leadership across complex civil and structural engineering projects, helping to deliver critical facilities and infrastructure upgrades within a highly regulated environment. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you'll influence engineering decisions, solve complex technical challenges, and ensure high-quality solutions are delivered safely, efficiently, and to exacting standards.
