Job summary

Assystem is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer (PSR) for defence projects in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on delivering PSR-related civil/structural design activities and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across critical infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in reinforced concrete and steel structures, with proven ability to justify design modifications in high-hazard settings and lead multidisciplinary teams within a nuclear or similar high-risk

Qualifications

• Experience in design assessment of reinforced concrete and steelwork for dynamic loads.
• Experience on reinforced concrete and steel marine structures such as jetties.

Assystem mobilizes 8,000 experts in 13 countries and intervenes across the entire project lifecycle, in engineering, project management and digital solutions.## Job DescriptionThe Design Authority undertakes a vital role in ensuring that key defence infrastructure is safe and fit for purpose.We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to support the technical capability of the Client Design Authority (DA).
