Opportunity for Civil Engineer at AFRY

Join AFRY’s Energy Division within the expanding Thermal and Renewable Energy team in the UK. You will support clients across all project stages, including feasibility studies, technology assessments, due diligence, FEED studies, owner’s engineer services, EPCM services, operations, maintenance, and expert witness services.

Your Tasks:

• Provide engineering/technical expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve project challenges
• Prepare specifications and functional requirements for civil engineering aspects of energy projects
• Review and support design processes, deliverables, and technical documentation
• Develop design deliverables: drawings, specifications, cost estimates, schedules
• Draft technical reports, correspondence, calculations, and sketches
• Continuously improve technical knowledge and skills
• Maintain accurate records and identify project risks, contributing to mitigation strategies
• Support business development activities and mentor junior engineers

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2:1 degree in civil engineering
• Chartered Engineer status
• Knowledge of UK energy sector codes and standards (Eurocodes, British Standards)
