Principal / Associate Civil Engineer

Location: Manchester

Salary: £55,000£65,000 (DOE) + benefits package (~£4,000)

A growing, forward-thinking engineering consultancy is expanding its brand-new Manchester office and is seeking an ambitious Principal or Associate Civil Engineer to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make their mark, lead multidisciplinary projects, and play a key role in shaping the continued growth of the Manchester presence.

You’ll join a supportive team that will fully back your development across a wide range of sectors, clients and engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of drawings, calculations, reports and design documentation.
• Review, coordinate and support the work of other engineers and technicians.
• Use Civil 3D, CAD and other analysis / design software, and help develop junior team members capability.
• Analyse technical problems and develop practical, innovative engineering solutions.
• Solve engineering challenges with a strong understanding of relevant design guides and standards.
• Apply knowledge of CDM 2015 and designers responsibilities.
• Contribute to internal engineering procedures and quality standards.
