Job summary

A leading healthcare intelligence organization is seeking a Principal Biostatistician. In this fully remote role, you will design and analyze clinical trials, interpret complex medical data, and contribute to innovative treatment advancements. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's or Ph.D. in Biostatistics or related fields with over 5 years’ experience, especially in oncology clinical trials. Principal Biostatistician (Client dedicated Fully remote)

We are currently seeking a Principal Biostatistician to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Principal Biostatistician at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in designing and analyzing clinical trials, interpreting complex medical data, and contributing to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.

What you will be doing
  • Serves as lead biostatistician for simple to complex clinical studies.
  • Develops statistical analysis plans and reporting specifications.
  • Responsible for statistical aspects of CRF design and edit specifications.
  • Performs statistical analyses and interprets results for simple to complex clinical studies.
  • Reviews simple to complex randomization specifications and dummy randomization schemes.
  • Participates in bid defense meetings.
Your profile
  • Master’s degree or Ph.D in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field with 5 or more years of biostatistical experience.
  • Previous work experience in oncology late phase clinical trials. Work experience in myeloma clinical trials nice to have.
  • Strong validation skills and experiences in ADaM/output QC.
  • Experience in writing SAP.
  • Good knowledge of SDTM, eCRFE.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
