Your Role

With recent project wins, we are looking for a Principal / Associate Consultant with experience in EIA and consenting projects to join our Scotland team. This role represents an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and pursue career development as an enthusiastic candidate looking to progress to the next level in a fast‑paced, exciting industry.

  • You will work collaboratively with a range of technical specialists on broad projects.
  • Lead and coordinate Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and related consents.
  • Lead on bids and tender opportunities.
  • Act as technical lead on projects.
  • Engage with stakeholders and clients.
  • Assist in developing new areas of business.
  • Project management.
  • Mentor and provide support to more junior colleagues.
About You
  • Educated to a degree level in an environmental or related discipline.
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing with a passion for the environment.
  • Understanding of consenting and permitting across a range of project types/jurisdictions.
  • Ability to adapt to change, work under pressure, and deliver technical excellence.
  • Excellent reporting and analytical skills.
  • Experience of bids and tender preparation.
  • Experience of delivering a project from bid to completion.
  • Membership of a professional body.
  • Chartered Environmentalist, Scientist or equivalent.
