We are seeking a Principal Airport Planner to join our team, working within a multi-disciplinary group to deliver aviation services to airport owners, airlines, and transportation agencies globally. Our aviation specialists provide integrated services for diverse projects, including local, national, and international developments.

Location options include Manchester, Basingstoke, or Croydon, with a hybrid work pattern. Here’s what you’ll do:

  1. Report to the Aviation Advisory Team Leader and collaborate with team members across all levels, from graduates to Directors, as well as internal global design teams.
  2. Lead and contribute to projects such as airport masterplans, facility planning, capacity and demand analysis, and simulation modeling for domestic and international projects.
  3. Manage projects, build relationships with clients and stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery.
  4. Prepare proposals and support bids for new projects.
  5. Support the technical development of junior team members.
  6. Travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications and experience required include:

  • Degree in aviation, planning, or civil engineering.
  • Chartered or near-chartered membership of a recognized professional institution.
  • Experience in airport capacity assessment and familiarity with ICAO and IATA ADRM standards.
  • Proficiency with modeling software such as CAST, AviPlan, and AirTOP.
  • AutoCAD experience; Civil 3D is desirable.
  • Strong communication, project management, and client-facing skills.
