Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Principal Airport Civil Engineer to lead design across UK and international airport projects. You will deliver technically rigorous solutions for airfield and infrastructure schemes while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and clients.

The role offers a hybrid working model with a focus on career growth, development opportunities, and exposure to a broad portfolio of national and overseas assignments.

Qualifications

• Chartered Civil Engineer with demonstrable design delivery across airport/infrastructure projects.
• Experience in airfield and highways pavement design, materials spec and maintenance.
• Proven ability to build client relationships and lead bid activities.
• Ability to prepare briefs, scopes of work and contribute to proposals.

Your Role

• To undertake technical design work within an airport environment.
• Successfully co-ordinate and deliver design solutions on time and to budget.
• Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

About You

• Chartered Civil Engineer.
• Airfield and infrastructure design experience, including successful delivery of schemes from concept to detailed design.
• Knowledge of either Airport or Highways pavement design, materials specification and maintenance with an appreciation of principles and application of UK and international pavement design methods.
• Experience in developing client relationships and work winning activities.
• Ability to prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
