AZTRUM is seeking a Principal Air Quality Consultant to join its growing Oxford-area team. The role combines technical delivery with client relationship management and project leadership across UK air quality assignments.

You will apply robust modelling and assessment techniques (ADMS, AERMOD) under UK legislation, contribute to bids, and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, hybrid-working environment with a strong emphasis on professional development and chartership support.

Candidate Profile

You'll be a technically strong, commercially aware consultant who enjoys both delivery and developing client relationships. You will likely have:

• Demonstrable experience working in air quality consultancy
• Strong knowledge of UK air quality legislation, modelling, and assessment techniques (e.g. ADMS, AERMOD)
• Experience delivering air quality assessments for planning, permitting, or transport/infrastructure projects
• A relevant degree in environmental science, chemistry, geography, or a related discipline
• Membership or eligibility for IAQM/IES or equivalent
• A clean driving licence
