Job summary

Engitech is seeking a Planner with Primavera P6 experience to support the delivery of design and as-built works across major infrastructure projects in the UK and internationally. You will collaborate with Engineers, Designers, Construction Teams and BIM Managers to produce schedules and manage CPI/SPI for monthly reporting.

The role is ideal for someone progressing from an assistant role toward overall programme responsibility, with emphasis on proactive problem-solving and risk management.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting planning or project controls on construction, engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and scheduling principles.
• Ability to interpret project programmes, milestones and activity dependencies.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical skills and data handling.
• Clear communication and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience on rail projects or large programmes such as HS2 is desirable.
• Familiarity with CPI/SPI metrics and their interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Collect progress updates and compare actuals with planned milestones.
• Identify schedule risks, delays and dependencies; suggest improvements.
• Prepare programme reports, dashboards and lookahead schedules for stakeholders.
• Support change control by recording revisions and assessing impact.
• Coordinate with project controls to ensure accurate schedule data and reporting.
• Participate in planning meetings and communicate updates to technical and non-technical teams.
