Job summary

Let’s Educate, trading as Integra Education North Ltd., is seeking Primary Phonics, Literacy & Numeracy Tutors to support pupils across Warrington and surrounding areas with face-to-face 1-1 tuition. Deliver engaging lessons tailored to the UK National Curriculum, adapting your approach to meet individual needs, and contribute to building confidence in reading, writing and maths.

We welcome QTS or PGCE holders, UK primary school experience, and a patient, creative, independent working style;

Qualifications

• QTS or PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience working within a UK primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
• Good knowledge of primary phonics, literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality 1-1 tuition, with a focus on phonics, literacy and numeracy.
• Plan and adapt lessons around each pupil's individual needs and current curriculum.
• Build positive relationships that encourage engagement and confidence.
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt your teaching to support positive outcomes.
• Provide regular feedback and maintain accurate session records.

Primary Phonics, Literacy & Numeracy Tutors Needed

Warrington & Surrounding Areas | £25–£31 per hour DOE | Flexible Hours | Term-Time Only

At Let’s Educate, we work with pupils who need additional support to access education, providing face-to-face catch-up and personalised tuition in home, community and school settings.

You’ll have the freedom to plan and deliver lessons around the UK National Curriculum, whilst adapting your approach to suit the individual child you're working with.

The Role

You’ll deliver engaging, personalised lessons that help pupils overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and develop strong foundations in their education.

Whether a child needs support with phonics, literacy, numeracy, catching up with missed learning or simply needs a different approach to education, you’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference.

With flexible hours generally available between 9am and 5pm, this role can fit around your existing commitments while providing a regular and rewarding source of income.

Your Responsibilities

We're Looking For

• QTS, PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience working within a UK primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
• Good knowledge of primary phonics, literacy and numeracy.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs is desirable.
• A patient, creative and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Reliable, passionate and confident working independently.
• The ability to build positive relationships with children and young people.
• Availability during term time.

What We Offer

£25–£31 per hour, depending on experience.
