Job summary

Lancashire County Council's John Cross Church Of England Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to support an infant class and occasional groups, helping meet the personal, social and educational needs of our pupils.

The successful candidate will join a committed, church-facing school team with motivated children, supportive staff and strong community links; the role is full-time in term time, with pro-rata pay and after-school clubs as listed.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant Certificate (or equivalent).
• NVQ level 2 or above qualification.
• Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher and assist in meeting the personal, social and educational needs of our children.
• Work mainly within an infant class, with occasional groups as required.
