The Role

As a Qualified Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting teachers in delivering lessons, helping students with their learning, and promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Your flexibility and experience will be key to adapting to different school settings and year groups. We have both short‑term and long‑term opportunities, some of which can lead to permanent positions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teaching and learning across a range of primary year groups (EYFS to KS2)
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
  • Help implement behaviour management strategies
  • Assist with classroom setup and resource preparation
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Work closely with the teacher to monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching methods
Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working in a primary school setting within the last two years
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about supporting children and helping them succeed
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching

Desirable:

  • Experience working with pupils with SEND
  • Experience in delivering interventions in literacy and numeracy
  • Previous experience working across multiple year groups
