Job summary

The Education Specialists are seeking proactive Teaching Assistants to support pupils in primary classrooms in Stoke. You will work closely with teachers to help pupils complete tasks, promote independence and implement learning strategies.

Experience in secondary schools or similar settings is valued, and an Enhanced DBS is required as part of the registration process. Flexible, long-term and temporary opportunities are available through our team of education consultants.

Qualifications

• As a Teaching Assistant, provide support to pupils to complete set tasks in the classroom.
• Experience in secondary schools or similar settings is advantageous.
• DBS / safeguarding checks are required as part of the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils to complete set tasks within the classroom.
• Occasionally provide 1:1 support.
• Promote independence and develop pupil confidence.
• Implement and maintain learning strategies to help targets.
• Collaborate with teachers and other TAs to foster a positive learning environment.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for numerousTeaching Assistants to support students in primary schools in Stoke.

Responsibilities of the role willinclude;

• Supporting pupils to complete set tasks within the classroom
• Occasionally on a 1:1 basis.
• Promoting independence within the school environment.
• Developing confidence of the pupils.
• Implementing and maintaining learning strategies.
• Supporting pupils to achieve their individual education targets.
• Working in partnership with teachers and otherTA'sto provide a stable, positive environment for learning.

Who can apply?

• Experience working in Secondary Schoolsor similar settings.
• Individuals who have worked in an environment supporting and managing young people such as youth groups, sports coaching and mentoring.
• Other education professionals with these skills and experience.
