Job summary

Academics is recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants to support schools in and around Baildon. This is a flexible role with daily supply, longer-term placements, and permanent opportunities.

You will work with pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, supporting learning and pupil development, including children with additional needs. A valid Enhanced DBS, or willingness to apply, is required. The role offers valuable experience and the chance to find the right fit within our partner schools.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a primary school setting.
• Able to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Confident in supporting learning and pupil development.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs/SEN is beneficial.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic.
• Available from September onwards.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS, or be willing to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Support learning activities and pupil development in primary settings.
• Assist teachers in delivering sessions and managing classroom routines.
• Support pupils with SEN and differentiating instruction where needed.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff to create a positive learning environment.
