As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils build strong foundations in reading, writing and mathematics, while supporting wider learning across the curriculum. You will help promote active learning, retrieval practice and independent thinking, ensuring every child has the opportunity to grow academically, socially and emotionally. Guided by teaching staff, you will contribute to a stimulating environment where children feel motivated, curious and confident.
You will support pupils of different ages and abilities, including children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Working closely with the SEND team, you will help to remove barriers to learning and ensure every child feels valued and supported. Promoting inclusion, championing equality of opportunity and celebrating each child s strengths will be central to your approach.
