Job summary

A local education provider in Eastfield, Scarborough, seeks an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to support children in Nursery and Reception. This full-time, long-term supply position starts in January 2026. Duties include encouraging positive emotional development, assisting with educational activities, and fostering strong relationships within the school community. Qualifications

About the Role

We re looking for an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and welcoming Primary School in the Eastfield area of Scarborough. This is a full-time, long-term supply role beginning January 2026 and running until Easter initially, with the potential to continue for the right person.

In this role, you ll be supporting children in Nursery and Reception as they start their educational journey. You ll work closely with the EYFS team to create a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child can develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
