Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Reed Plymouth, in partnership with a local trust, is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and motivated Class Teacher for a maternity cover role. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a teacher committed to ensuring every child achieves their potential. The specific year group will be determined based on the interests and experience of the successful candidate.

Day‑to‑day of the role:
  • Deliver high‑quality teaching and learning to pupils, inspiring them to achieve their full potential.
  • Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
  • Establish and enforce rules for behaviour and procedures for maintaining an environment conducive to learning.
  • Evaluate students' academic and social growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare progress reports.
  • Communicate with parents or guardians, teachers, counsellors, and administrators to resolve students' behavioural and academic problems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
