An education support organization in Leigh is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher for SEMH and ASD needs. The role involves planning and delivering tailored lessons, supporting pupils with emotional and behavioral challenges. Ideal candidates will have experience or a strong interest in SEN settings. This is a long-term position with competitive pay between £160–£250 per day, starting ASAP until Christmas with possibilities for extension.

Hours: 08:30–16:00 (occasionally until 16:30 on Tuesdays for training)

We are seeking a passionate, resilient and skilled Primary Teacher to join a fantastic SEMH specialist school in the Leigh area. This is a rewarding long-term role working with pupils who present with SEMH, ASD and complex needs, requiring a calm, nurturing and adaptable practitioner who can inspire confidence and create a safe space for learning.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils who may struggle with emotional regulation, communication and behaviour. Classes are small, and you will have strong support from experienced Teaching Assistants, behaviour teams and SEN specialists.
