You will deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS–KS2, foster a positive learning environment, and adapt to diverse school settings while building strong relationships with pupils and staff. Ideal candidates hold QTS, have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, and bring solid primary teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one).
• Possesses experience teaching within the primary age range.
• Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.
• Is flexible, reliable, and professional in their approach.
• Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and school leaders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2, depending on your experience.
• Create a positive, engaging, and well-managed learning environment.
• Adapt confidently to different school settings, routines, and classroom expectations.
• Take advantage of opportunities ranging from day-to-day cover to short-term and long-term placements.
• Work across a range of supportive and welcoming primary schools throughout Formby.
