Job summary

Academics are recruiting qualified primary teachers to support schools in New Mills and surrounding areas on a flexible supply basis.

Opportunities range from individual days to longer placements, with competitive pay and the freedom to choose when and where you work. You will gain experience across different year groups and school environments, supported by a dedicated Academics consultant.

Qualifications

• QTS required or equivalent.
• Strong interest in primary education.
• Positive and proactive teaching approach.
• Confidence to adapt to new classrooms and build relationships quickly.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Willingness to travel to New Mills and surrounding areas.
• ECTs welcome.

Responsibilities

• Support from a dedicated Academics consultant while working across a variety of local primary schools.
• Take on supply roles from single days to longer-term placements as needed.
• Engage with different year groups and school environments to gain diverse experience.
• Decide when and where you work within supplied opportunities.
