Job summary

Long Term Futures is seeking a Qualified Primary Teacher for a position in South London. The role welcomes ECTs and offers long-term and permanent placements with supportive leadership and a focus on pupil potential.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS1/KS2, assess progress, and differentiate to meet diverse needs while supporting students’ academic and personal growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Experience teaching in a UK primary school.
• Strong knowledge of KS1 and KS2 curricula.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons and manage a classroom effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across KS1 and KS2.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Assess pupil progress and use data to adapt teaching and maximise attainment.
• Differentiate learning to meet needs of all pupils, including SEND and high achievers.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development for secondary transition.

We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school.
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and or 2 curriculum.
• Confident planning and delivering engaging lessons that challenge and inspire pupils.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
