Job Title: Primary Teacher

Location: East Grinstead

Pay Rate: £150 – £210 per day (depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school in East Grinstead. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to nurture pupils’ academic, social, and personal development in a supportive school environment.

As a Primary Teacher, you will:
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the diverse needs of pupils across the classroom.
  • Foster curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning among pupils.
  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to enhance pupil development.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports all learners.
Requirements for Primary Teacher:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent classroom management, organisational, and communication skills.
  • A creative, adaptable, and engaging approach to teaching.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
