Job Opportunity: Primary Teacher - Year 2
Location: South Birmingham

Our South Birmingham based Catholic Primary School is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join their established team to start September 2025. This successful Primary school boasts a supportive and nurturing environment for staff and pupils. This school requires an experienced teacher to cover a maternity leave from September 2025 to Easter 2026. This is a full-time post with planning required.

You will have prior UK primary teaching experience and be able to commit to a full-time role from September 2025.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons tailored to the needs of pupils
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal development of each child
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and well-being
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting appropriate targets
  • Uphold the Catholic ethos and values of the school in all aspects of teaching and community life
