Job summary

The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire children to develop a love of learning. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to create an inclusive classroom environment where every pupil feels supported and challenged.

Positions are available across EYFS, Reception, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, depending on your experience, strengths, and preferences.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and leadership staff.
  • Promote positive behaviour and high expectations for learning.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and school events.
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
About You

To be considered for this Primary Teacher role, you will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
