Job summary

Teach South Kent in Eastbourne & Hailsham is seeking primary supply teachers for day-to-day cover across KS1 and KS2. You choose available days, from one to five per week, with bookings in advance or last-minute.

We work with two academy trusts, offering consistent demand, flexible schedules, weekly pay at competitive daily rates, a named consultant, safeguarding and CPD support, and a route into longer-term roles.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS (ideally Update Service) or willingness to apply.
• Two professional references covering recent work with children.
• Ability to cover both KS1 and KS2 at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Cover day-to-day supply across KS1 and KS2.
• Follow a planned lesson or adapt on the spot as needed.
• Arrange and manage availability for booked days.

Primary Supply Teachers – Eastbourne & Hailsham

Day-to-day supply | Part-time and full-time availability | KS1 & KS2

We're recruiting primary supply teachers to cover ad-hoc days across our partner schools in Eastbourne and Hailsham.We work directly with two academy trusts in the area, which means consistent demand, familiar schools and a real say in where and when you work.

The role

You'll be covering day-to-day supply across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.Some days are booked in advance, others come in the night before or first thing in the morning.You choose the days you make yourself available, whether that's one day a week or five.

Who we're looking for

• QTS, QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Confident teaching across both KS1 and KS2, and happy to pick up a class at short notice
• Good behaviour management and the ability to follow a planned lesson or adapt on the spot
• An enhanced child workforce DBS (ideally on the Update Service) or willingness to apply for one
• Two professional references covering your recent work with children

Early Career Teachers and returners are welcome to apply.Supply is a good way back into the classroom.
