Primary Supply Teacher

St. Ives

£140 - £160 a day

Randstad Education is seeking passionate and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers for ongoing opportunities in our partner schools in and around St. Ives. Whether you prefer part-time or full-time work, these roles will allow you to make a significant difference in students' educational journeys. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom dynamics, and supporting pupils' academic and personal growth.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver inspiring lessons aligned with the primary curriculum.
  • Tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of your pupils.
  • Assess, track, and support student progress, helping them achieve their best.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain effective classroom management, fostering respect and responsibility.
  • Communicate with parents and carers about student progress and well-being.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum including Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage One (KS1) & Key Stage Two (KS2)
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
