Job summary

GSL Education is seeking an experienced Primary Supply Teacher for flexible, ad hoc cover in a Good Ofsted school in Tower Hamlets, London. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS1/KS2, maintain positive classroom behaviour, and support pupils’ learning in a welcoming environment.

The role requires QTS, recent UK primary teaching experience, and the ability to provide references. DBS checks or updating service DBS are required, with several local partnership schools offering regular supply

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Recent UK-based teaching experience within a primary school.
• Experience teaching KS1 and KS2 pupils.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
• Provide relevant references.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across KS1 and KS2 classes
• Follow school policies and lesson plans where provided
• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
