Primary SEND Teacher

We're working with a special education school in the Melksham area to recruit a Primary SEND Teacher for a full-time position from January until Easter 2026.

The school offers a safe and caring environment where pupils are supported to overcome challenges and reach their full potential. Staff work closely together to provide stability, structure and encouragement for every child.

The role would suit an experienced SEND teacher who values strong relationships and thrives in an environment where every small step forward is celebrated.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Possess a valid DBS on the update service (or we can process one for you)
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or ENIC (was NARIC) and right to work (overseas teachers only)
  • Have proven experience supporting pupils with SEND
  • Be a reflective, empathetic and engaging classroom practitioner with the desire to make a real difference to pupil's lives
  • Be motivated by helping children overcome challenges
  • Be able to easily build a rapport across the wider school community
