Primary School Teaching Assistant - Manchester - KS1 & KS2

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant seeking a new opportunity for January 2026? Educate GM are working with a large community school based in Gorton, Manchester. Close to Manchester city centre and nearby transport links, the school are looking to recruit a full-time Teaching Assistant to support across both KS1 and KS2.

Job Overview

This full-time Teaching Assistant position will run until the end of the academic year with scope for a permanent contract for the right practitioner. You will be working alongside a diverse team of Teachers and Teaching Assistants. Experience working 1:1 and facilitating small groups is essential. The nature of the role requires an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for teaching and developing young individuals to reach their full potential. The right candidate will be patient and understanding and will offer the pupils creative and engaging support in lessons to ensure they excel in their learning.
