Job summary

Engage Education Ltd in Epsom is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a thriving primary school. You will work one-to-one or in small groups, assist with lesson delivery, and prepare classroom resources.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in any subject, is enthusiastic about helping children reach their potential, and has strong numeracy and literacy skills; DBS checks are preferred and full support is provided throughout the application process.

Qualifications

• A degree in any subject.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about helping children reach their academic potential.
• Proficient numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to form excellent relationships and rapport with pupils.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the delivery of effective teaching on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
• Helping with the planning and delivery of lessons
• Supporting pupils with their educational and behavioural development
• Preparing classroom resources
• Providing feedback to teachers and parents
• Helping with extracurricular activities (e.g. revision sessions)
