Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream school in Exeter on a temporary basis.

You will support pupils in the classroom, work with individuals and small groups, and help create an inclusive environment where every child can succeed. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or young people, ideally with SEND experience, and be patient, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with teachers and support staff.

You will support pupils in the classroom, work with individuals and small groups, and help create an inclusive environment where every child can succeed.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working with children or young people
• Ideally have experience supporting pupils with SEND
• Be patient, adaptable and confident building positive relationships
• Work effectively alongside teachers and other support staff
• Preferably hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupils’ wellbeing
